Interior Designer (In-house)

In this role, you will be involved in every stage of the design process, from developing initial concepts to overseeing installation. You will work directly with clients, manage procurement, collaborate with contractors, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive design concepts for residential projects
  • Prepare mood boards and design presentations
  • Manage all procurement, vendor relationships, and maintain accurate records
  • Draft specifications and change orders using company software (Buildertrend)
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and internal team members to meet project needs
  • Oversee the design aspect of projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and adjusting as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in residential design
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a balance of aesthetics and practicality
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design expertise
